The further we travel, the greater the adventures we seek. It’s not just that travelling to far-flung destinations is becoming easier; we’re also being exposed to an immense amount of inspiration. And in SS17 Fjällräven is reaching out to the global adventurer by combining its own tried-and-tested mix of both the inspiration and the means.
The inspiration comes in the form of Fjällräven Classic. This hugely popular event that already takes place in Sweden and Denmark, will now be joined by treks in Hong Kong and Colorado in the US. The event, which first took place in 2005, is Fjällräven’s way of enabling more people to experience multi-day trekking.
The means then, comes from the products. Global travellers aren’t bound by national borders. And they travel to and within various climates and demand a full-range of trekking products to suit. As a result, Fjällräven has developed a new material, G-1000 Air and it has expanded its travel collection.
But all adventurers know you need true flexibility and multi-functionality when on the trail. And Fjällräven has the answer. It’s expanding its much-loved trouser collection with Trekking Tights, for both men and women. Tights are already a frequent sight on the trail, but Fjällräven believes the current market offering is not hardwearing enough for the rigors of long-distance trekking. Its version combines all the great knowledge it has acquired from its long history creating trekking trousers, with the flexibility and comfort of tights.
